Storm Lake was selected from seeds from West Virginia by Harry Swartz. Seeds were collected from the southeast side of Mt. Storm Lake – Elevation 3,000 feet.
A good spreading, edible ground cover, at about 8 inches. They spread by underground rhizomes,
Fall colors are bluish gray changing to fiery red.
Fruits are very small but have a very good and strong flavor
Drought tolerant.
Full Sun, slightly acidic soil
