Excellent firmness, very sweet flavor, and disease resistance. The earliest commercial red raspberry, ripening mid-July, produces a summer and fall crop.
Jaclyn ripens the earliest among all commercial varieties. Crimson berries, with excellent firmness, are very sweet, and highly resistant to insect and fungal diseases. Up to 6′ tall plants bear conical-shaped fruit 1-2 years after planting. Prefers 1/2 day to full sun and organic well drained soil. Self-fertile.
