Jahn’s Prairie, from Alberta, Canada, is a high-yielding Gooseberry variety, ‘Jahn’s Prairie’, is grown in many parts of the world, and is known for its annual harvests of very large and sweet, flavorful fruit. This compact, neat, and attractive shrub produces an abundance of pink-red fruits in early summer, equally enjoyed by humans and wildlife; delicious eaten fresh or in preserves and pies.
