Heterotheca villosa (prairie aster, hairy golden-aster)

Excellent long bloomer, very showy, use in borders or dry spaces.

Clumping habit, hairy stems and bright yellow daisy-like flowers (¾ to 1½ inches across),with many petals; offers a sage scent. Common in the West, where these can be seen often filling dry places.
